SHAMBROOMAPPS
Index / 04 apps / free

A very small app store.

Shambroom is my last name. These are the apps I wanted to exist, so I built them. Each one runs in the browser. Nothing to install, nothing to pay.

The apps

Cheervelo

Ask the people who actually motivate you for a cheer, tied to a goal you're chasing. Encouragement, on request. Hear their voice when it matters.

Crossword Builder

You think of clues and answers. It handles numbering, grid layout, and prints a genuinely beautiful PDF with an answer key. Unleash your creativity.

Strava Voice Post

Post an activity just by speaking into your phone. It listens like a coach who knows the sport, writes it up, and posts to Strava once you approve.

Kidoku

Sudoku for kids, played with pictures instead of numbers. Use your own photos, then publish it for one specific small person.

Tip

Keep an app on your home screen

These are web apps, so there’s no App Store and nothing to download. Open one, add it to your home screen, and it behaves like any other app — its own icon, full screen, no browser bar.

iPhone & iPad · Safari

  1. Open the app in Safari — not Chrome, this only works in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap View More at the end of the row of round icons. If you don’t see it, skip ahead.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android · Chrome

  1. Open the app in Chrome. Many will offer to install themselves — if a prompt appears, you’re done.
  2. Otherwise tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.

Who made this

Me. An ordinary amount of spare time, an unreasonable number of ideas, and Claude Code as the other half of the team.

Nothing here costs anything or wants your data. Have fun. Be Creative. Let’s Go!

Support

The apps are free. Keeping them running is not.

Every app here is free, with no ads and no accounts to sell. If one of them was useful to you, a voluntary donation helps cover hosting and the APIs they lean on — and tells me it was worth building. It buys you nothing extra — everything stays free either way.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. ShambroomApps never sees or stores your card details. Donations are voluntary, are not tax deductible, and do not unlock any product or feature.
